Beginnings: Welcome to my Creative Space

The internet is noisy, cramped, and overwhelming. I’ve been desperate for a quiet, enjoyable space to showcase my work, breathe, and escape. Hopefully, you’ve found my page because you also need this. Perhaps you’re someone who loves crafting or someone whose body doesn’t always cooperate, like me. Either way, you’re in the right place.

My name is Jae. I’m an artist with too many ideas. I love folklore, vampires, Ancient Egypt, and making things with my hands. I try to balance creativity around my job working in a camera store and a chronic illness that sometimes leaves me in bed for the day. This is a space to share it all and document my creative journey.

This isn’t just going to be a place to show off finished pieces; it’s about connecting with people in the highs and lows of creativity. There are days spent banging my head against a wall trying to come up with ideas, and if that’s the case, I’ll talk about that too. It’s nice to know that there are other people out there who understand.

I’ll be talking about my creative process, living with chronic illness, storytelling, and showing off my cat.

Here are some examples of my recent work, with more on my website!

Chungus - Named by Reece, 2025

My favourite recent piece is Chungus, a palm-sized tattoo design which is for sale in my Ko-Fi shop. He’s super cute and helped me out of a vicious art block.

If you like my work, there are loads more designs on my Ko-Fi and Instagram, with more to come soon!

Whether you’re here to browse the art, share ideas, or are just bored on the toilet, I hope my space is interesting and somewhere you’ll come again.

Have an amazing day!

Jae

Jae Leeds

I create for myself and for people like me, who struggle through their lives. I lived with difficult parenting, mental health issues, physical disability, and constant stress. I want to make something that people can love and enjoy, for them and for me. I want to build something that makes me feel free, finally.

My chronic illness and neurodivergence have held me back at every turn. Isolated in school, left behind at work, and forced to give up the filmmaking I trained for, I want to use this to seize back control over the direction of my life and do something that I love to raise awareness for these conditions and the people affected.
